CONGRATULATIONS

Waltee Annette Scott Utterback On Your Retirement

As Church Secretary for 36 Years!

In 1984, Annette became HSBC’s church secretary after serving in The U.S. Women’s Army as a certified stenographer for Commanding Officers until she received her Honorable Discharge, then serving in the Army Reserves.

By the Grace of God, Annette served HSBC and was the assistant to four pastors: Rev. Noel C. Taylor, Rev. Floyd Davis, Rev. David Chapman Sr., and Rev. Serenus Churn, Jr.

Her organizational and office management skills were exceptional! They allowed her to seamlessly juggle Church office affairs and function as assistant to Pastors. Her love of God also gave her an opportunity to minister to others whom she spoke to by phone or persons who visited the Church officer.

Members of HSBC remain truly grateful to her for her gifts--office consistency, knowledge and love of God that she shared with others and in the monthly Gazette through the Inspirational Corner. We love you and thank her for her service to God, Country and High Street!
